Jaszbereny
Jaszbereny is located to 80 kms from Budapest. The local Refrigerator Factory, founded in 1952, boosted the industrial development in Jászberény. Through Lehel Refrigerators Jászberény became known abroad, too.
After the privatization, Electrolux Inc., one of the top white goods manufacturing company in Europe, became the major shareholder of the company. Electrolux employes approximately 6-7,000 people in Jaszbereny.

Jaszbereny has no own business park, but the neighboring Jaszfenyszaru Industrial Park provides greenfiled areas and a 5,800 sq.meter industrial hall for rent. The leading electronics company, Samsung Electronics employes 5,000+ people in Jaszfenyszaru.
Polgar
Polgar www.polgar.hu is a little town in Eastern Hungary. Although the town has 9,000 inhabitants only, in 60 kms live 1 million people. Three major cities, Debrecen, Miskolc and Nyiregyhaza offer strong electronics industrial environment, including companies just like Jabil Curcuit, Bosch, National Instrumnets, GE Lighting, Electrolux etc.
Polgar Industrial Park, located nearby the M3 Motorway, has 120,000 sq.meter real estate development program: prepared manufacturing buildings and storage for newcommer investors. Preparation includes plans and permissions, the Park can deliver a brand new facility in 4 monthes after signing a contract with new investor.
The local vocational school in Polgar reorganized its training programmes, and the logistics, IT and electronics are the mainstream of local education. Beside vocational (secondary) education, the local school launched also technician (upper) trainings on these fields.
The Financial Times’ fDi Magazine ranked the Jaszbereny- and Polgar-involved “Northern Great Plain Region” on nr.1 doing business location in Eastern Europe. The study investigated the business environment, infrastructure, current business trends and FDI strategies of competing locations. The Region outran all the EU new member state regions from Poland to Romania.
